Rehabilitation Programs

We offer the following inpatient rehabilitation programs:

Amputee
Life after amputation is filled with the challenge of adapting and returning to a normal life. The goal of MidAmerica's amputee program is to return the patient to the highest level of independence and functional lifestyle at home, in the community and in the workplace.

Arthritis
For many people the pain of osteoarthritis can become so severe that it disrupts normal living. Caring for yourself becomes difficult, and handling family or work responsibilities may become impossible. MidAmerica's arthritis rehabilitation program helps an individual reduce and manage their pain while increasing their independence.

Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic therapy is often prescribed by physicians for clients who are suffering from a variety of disorders. The aquatic environment not only improves patient confidence and aids in pain management, but also helps patients regain function and independence and facilitates the return to work and play.

Brain Injury
Early rehabilitation is critical to help patients achieve their fullest potential after brain injury. MidAmerica has established a rehabilitation program that helps patients achieve and maximize functional and cognitive recovery following a brain injury. The program enables patients to become more self-sufficient and understand how to avoid future health problems. Sample patient profile
